Swanson Hyperbarics Announces Clinical Affiliation with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences

FARGO, ND — Swanson Hyperbarics is proud to announce a new clinical affiliation with the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine & Health Sciences to offer an elective rotation in hyperbaric medicine.

The elective rotation, based at Swanson Hyperbarics’ state-of-the-art facility in Fargo, will introduce medical students to the principles and clinical applications of HBO Medicine. The rotation will include hands-on experience in patient care, daily operations of a hyperbaric clinic, wound assessment, and exposure to the role of HBO Medicine in treating a wide range of complex conditions.

“We’re honored to collaborate with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in the education of the next generation of physicians,” said Dr. Allan Luistro, Medical Director at Swanson Hyperbarics. “This elective rotation provides an opportunity for medical students to gain clinical knowledge into hyperbaric medicine, a field that is growing in relevance across multiple areas of medicine.”

The initiative reflects Swanson Hyperbarics’ ongoing commitment to education, clinical excellence, and expanding awareness of the therapeutic benefits of hyperbaric medicine.
